Terms and Conditions.

By paying your invoice with Little Sweetery, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to our full terms and conditions.

Full payment is required via bank transfer and must be made promptly upon receipt of your invoice to confirm and secure your order. Orders will not be commenced until payment has been cleared. A $50 non-refundable booking deposit will also apply. 

Once an order has been placed, any changes or modifications (including postponements)  are subject to approval by Little Sweetery on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to decline any changes after the order has been confirmed. 

Cancellations with more than 3 weeks notice will be able to receive a refund of monies less the non-refundable deposit paid and any items purchased for your order (for example, cake toppers, artificial flowers). 

In the unlikely event that Little Sweetery cannot supply your order due to illness, accident or injury etc., Little Sweetery reserves the right to cancel the order and will refund the monies paid by you. We are not liable for any delays or issues that are out of our control including but not limited to,  accidents, disasters, pandemics, incremental weather, illness, injury or death.  

Collection times are arranged in consultation with each customer. Once a collection time and date have been confirmed, it is your responsibility to collect your order as agreed. Failure to do so may result in your order being resold. Requests to reschedule a collection time are subject to availability and are at the sole discretion of Little Sweetery. 

If a delivery has been agreed, please ensure someone is present at the delivery address on the scheduled date. If no one is available to receive the order, we will do our best to leave it in a safe location (with a neighbour, receptionist, or caretaker). A delivery fee will be agreed at part of your order. 

Little Sweetery is not responsible for any damage or interference to your order once it has been collected or delivered. All products are delicate and should be handled with extreme care. 

Due to the perishable nature of our products, we recommend consuming them within three (3) days of collection. Cupcakes may be stored at room temperature, refrigerated, or frozen. Cakes should be refrigerated until 1 hour before serving.

Please note: Little Sweetery does not cater to allergies. A list of ingredients is included on product packaging. If you have any concerns about allergens, please ensure you specify this prior to placing your order.

All design specifications are discussed and confirmed during your consultation. Whilst we aim to honour your preferences, final design details—including colours and styling—are at the discretion of Little Sweetery and variation may occur. 

If your order includes fresh flowers, please note that they are not considered food items and may contain pesticides, insects, or other contaminants. Where Little Sweetery supplies the flowers, availability is subject to seasonal and market conditions. Specific flower types or colours cannot be guaranteed. If you have a strict flower requirement, we recommend sourcing them from a florist directly.

Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Accordingly, we will accept the return of products that are defective due to defects in the production and/or packaging. Notification of such defects must be made via email in writing within 24 hours. If it is more than 24 hours since collection or more than a few pieces have been consumed this will void any refunds. Little Sweetery takes complaints very seriously and will assess any reported concerns and respond accordingly. Given we sell food products, returns cannot be honoured in cases of mistaken purchases or change of mind. 

Products may be photographed upon completion. Little Sweetery reserves the right to use these images and videos for promotional and display purposes.
